Communities

SMCI provides affordable housing and resident-centered services to low- and moderate-income seniors throughout Northern Virginia in five communities offering 769 units. All communities serve residents who earn 60% or less than of area median income (AMI), except for Evergreen House and Marywood Apartments. Those properties are restricted to households with AMI of 50% or less, but they also offer Federal Section 8 rent subsidies to qualified residents.
